What is Dawnchaser?

The personality was created in early 2000 as an email address (dawnchaser@inorbit.com - it's been inactive for quite a while). It was around that time that he started getting involved in on-line role-playing games, mostly in the Star Trek genre. The address, along with the subsequent hotmail account (also no longer active) was a point of contact for a couple of characters and the target for a lot of spam.

While Dawnchaser started life as a role-playing character it was also the personality that began to understand the techniques of web design and lead to the explosion of odds and ends of sites about a variety of subjects, some of which are still available on this site.

As the Web design enthusiasm grew it seemed prudent to branch off the two personality facets of Web design and Role-playing. Dawnchaser maintained the mantle of web design while in 2002 the RPG hat was passed on to Logoparadigm.

The name, Logoparadigm was an invention from the Greek "Logos" - "the word" and "paradigm" - "example or pattern". Word patterns being what the whole storytelling thing is about.

Just to make things interesting (well, not really) I'm working on two more on line personalities, Tolivaar and Chromebanana. You might catch some referances to one or both on The River. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with the blogging occasionaly. I spend so much nime newsreading and Podcast listening. Ahh, the perils of the modern world.
